Meet Spruce The Three-Legged Wonder!

Spruce is a 1.5 year old Border Collie mix with a heart as big as her spirit! This happy, playful girl doesn't let having three legs slow her down; she loves to play and horse around just like any other pup. With a high energy level, she'd excel at frisbee, fast cat, dock diving, barn hunt, scent work, or other focused sports. She is highly motivated!

She's treat-motivated, knows sit and wait, and takes treats like a lady. She's currently working with a trainer and her leash skills are improving every day!

Spruce adores affection and attention, soaking up every pet and belly rub she can get. She does not have separation anxiety when in her crate and left alone.

Spruce would thrive in a home with someone who is calm and confident, and who is experienced with Bordie Collies. Spruce will need a fenced yard to run around in to burn off that energy!

Our adoption fee is $350 plus health certificate ($50) and transport ($200 for most locations). This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), fecal analysis, spay, and a heartworm test. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
